WHY Erotic Romance?!

... because I can!!!

However, the plot and place and time and character have to motivate a sex scene ... and for that to happen, I have to give you enough background information to understand and recognize a character's motivation(s). Jumping into the middle of a "bump and grind" is not my idea of a good time, so I can't sell that type of erotic romance because I'm not buying it!

Personally, nuance and innuendo are much more sensual to me than "in your face" crotch descriptions. Although at times, I have some of that as well, but only in support of a particular character.

I guess I'm a little "old school," in that I want you to fall in love with Rebekah and the people surrounding her first and foremost ... invest emotionally in their successes and failures.

Everywhere I look today, sex is immediate and in your face and unapologetic. Okay, that works with videos and magazines! But I want you to open a book, immerse yourself in a fantasy, and walk away with a better understanding of "something" that's important to you!

Okay, maybe I'm overreaching my capabilities. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Until then, read and read and read and read ... because YOU can!!!
